Flame retardant conveyor belt adapts excellent flame retardant materials into top and bottom rubber cover, which is mainly used for coal mining, and also for chemical, metallurgical industries, etc. According to its inner structure, here are general used fabric laminated flame retardant conveyor belt, PVC & PVG whole core conveyor belt, and fire resistant steel cord conveyor belt.
. General used flame retardant rubber conveyor belt is applied to convey materials that require a flame retardant and static conductive belts in chemcial, electricity, metallurgy, light industry, grain precession and on-ground coal mining.
. PVC & PVG whole core conveyor belt adapts PVC or plastic-rubber mixture, which has a good performance on flexibility, light body, easy connection, cheap production cost. It works both for on the ground and underground, but mainly for not so heavy workng tension, not so long transporation distance.
. Flame retardand steel cord conveyor belt adapts higher tension strength, less elongation galvanized steel cord, suitable for the area of fire prevention, explosion-proof, high strict fire alarm. It is used to convey materials at the occasion of long distance, high span large loading and high strength, in flame retardant antistatic enviroments, mainly for coal ming underground conditions.
According to its flame resistant performance of rubber cover in GB standard, here are K2 and K3. Normally K2 is of better performance on flame retardance, working for bad conditions. MT668 standard is only used for flame retardant steel cord conveyor belt underground. In standard DIN, mainly for K15 and K20. K20 quality has 20Mpa tension and under 60s burning time. K15 is of 15Mpa tension strength and better burning time under 15s.
